Brie tops the list of my favorite cheeses. Its rich, creamy and delicious. Sometimes I spread it on crostini and top it with sliced pear, thyme and honey (see recipe here). Other times I slice it and put it in a panini with turkey and my favorite secret sauce (recipe here). This recipe is the perfect appetizer to serve at your next holiday party. It’s beautiful, quick and easy to make.
- 1 wheel of brie cheese (about 8 oz)
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp dried cranberries
- 1 tbsp candied walnuts
- Crackers for serving
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cut the rind off the top of the wheel of cheese. Then sprinkle with sugar, cranberries and walnuts and lightly press them into the cheese. Place onto a lined baking pan and place in oven. Bake for about 15 minutes until cheese is melted. Serve immediately with crackers.
