Aperol Spritz

What’s better than a spritz during summer?! An Aperol Spritz is THE perfect summer drink! It’s so refreshing, especially on a hot summer day. The first time I had one was in college during my semester abroad in Italy, and I absolutely loved it. During my most recent trip to Europe last month with my husband for our anniversary, Aperol Spritz was my go-to cocktail. I remembered how much I loved Aperol Spritzes and realized that I never make/drink them at home. So, once we returned to LA, I immediately bought the ingredients and started experimenting. This is the combo that I like best. I’ll be making them all summer long.

Ingredients:

• 1 ½ oz Aperol
• 3 oz Prosecco
• 1 oz Sparkling Water
• Ice

Directions:

Fill a wine glass halfway up with ice. Then add Aperol, Prosecco and sparkling water. Stir and garnish with an orange slice.
