Strawberry Basil Mimosas

Mother’s Day is just around the corner! I love hosting brunch to celebrate and obviously at brunch, you need fun cocktails. Or in my case at 8 months pregnant, mocktails! I created this Mimosa and non-alcoholic “Momosa” using one of my fav flavor combos, strawberry and basil. It just takes your standard orange juice mimosa up about 10 notches. Cheers to Mom!

Ingredients:

Directions:

Cut the tops off the strawberries and toss them in a blender with the fresh orange juice and the basil leaves. Blend until smooth. Then add the strawberry puree and agave and stir to combine. Finally, add the champagne and the soda to the pitcher. Stir and serve. Garnish each champagne glass with a strawberry.

Strawberry Basil “Momosa”

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 cups strawberries
  • 1/4 cup agave
  • 4 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 (500 ml) bottle of sparkling water
  • 1 1/2 cup Sparkling Strawberry Basil Soda

Directions:

Finally, add the sparkling water and the soda to the pitcher. Stir and serve. Garnish each champagne glass with a strawberry.
