Fall Harvest Board
I LOVE a good cheese board! Whenever we have guests over, I throw one of these together using whatever we have on hand. You can do something as simple as just brie cheese, pepper jelly and crackers and I promise your guests will be impressed. For a larger group, I like to get a little fancier and add lots of options. I always go for a variety of color, texture and flavor. The key to a great cheese board is a mix of cheeses, meats, fruit and nuts. The ingredients below are just a guide for you to go off, so feel free to change it up however you like. During Summer, I like to add fresh berries, dark chocolate, local honey from our farmers market and bright summer garnishes. ย But now that it’s Fall, I like to use what’s currently in season. For a Holiday party or a Friendsgiving/Thanksgiving feast, I add some fresh herbs, cinnamon sticks and mini pumpkins to garnish the board and make it little more festive.
Ingredients:
- Cheeses: 5 of your favorite cheeses (I find all my favs at Trader Joeโs!)
- Meats: Salami
- Fruit: figs, grapes, apples, pomegranate seeds
- Nuts: walnuts, spicy cashews
- Other: Olives, roasted garlic
- Crackers: Rosemary Raisin Crisps, Plantain Chips (Both from TJs)
- Condiments: pepper jelly
- Garnishes: rosemary, cinnamon sticks, mini pumpkins
Directions:
Choose your favorite platter or board and then start assembling all the ingredients. I start with the cheeses, then add meats followed by fruit, nus, and crackers. Then I fill in any empty spaces with the rest of the ingredients. I like to make this board look full and inviting as well as organic and pretty.

Wow, great post! Was wondering what ARE your go-to cheeses for this? And how many other boards do you recommend to buy/add to your collection?
