My mother-in-law makes the BEST Caesar salad dressing in the world! I could literally eat it with a spoon. We always have a mason jar full of this dressing in the fridge. It really is better than any other homemade or store-bought dressing Iβve had. It makes a simple Caesar salad much more special and delicious. I love serving this along side one of my favorite pastas, Penne Alla Vodka.
Serves 4 to 6
Ingredients:
Dressing:
- 3 Anchovies
- 1/4 cup Olive Oil
- 3 Garlic Cloves
- 1 tablespoon Teriyaki Baste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sour Cream
- 2 tsp Dijon Mustard
Salad:
- 10 cups Romaine lettuce
- Β½ cup shaved Parmesan cheese
- Β½ cup croutons
Directions:
Place all dressing ingredients in a food processor or blender and mix until fully incorporated.
Add lettuce to a large bowl and toss with dressing. Start with a couple tablespoons and slowly add in more dressing to taste. Then top with Parmesan cheese and croutons. Serve immediately after tossing.
